Tanaka Farms Pumpkin Patch — Irvine
Tanaka Farms is one of the first OC patches to open in 2026. Admission includes the pumpkin fields, unlimited wagon rides, the barnyard educational exhibit, pollinator garden, corn maze, kids play area and photo opportunities. Pumpkins are sold separately by weight.
Season: Sept. 12–Nov. 1
September hours: Daily, 9 a.m.–6 p.m.; last entry at 5 p.m.
October hours: Monday–Thursday, 9 a.m.–6 p.m.; Friday–Sunday, 9 a.m.–9 p.m. Last entry is one hour before closing.
Admission: $23 for ages 3 and older Monday–Thursday and Friday before noon; $27 Friday after noon and Saturday–Sunday. Ages 2 and younger are free.
Parking: The official pricing graphic lists a $12 parking pass for Friday afternoon and Saturday–Sunday visits.
Pumpkins: Sold separately at $1.39 per pound.

Irvine Park Railroad Pumpkin Patch — Orange
Irvine Park Railroad combines a pumpkin patch with train and wagon rides, carnival games, cookie and pumpkin decorating, a hay maze and a not-too-spooky haunted house. Entry rules change during the season, especially on weekends.
Season: Sept. 12–Oct. 31
Weekday hours: 10 a.m.–6 p.m.; no reservation required.
Weekend hours: 8 a.m.–6 p.m.
Weekend reservations: Not required Sept. 12–20. Required on weekends from Sept. 26–Oct. 31.
Reservation sale: Online beginning Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 10 a.m.
Weekend reservation price: $16–$22 per person over 12 months, depending on date and time, plus a $5 service fee per reservation. Each reservation includes patch entry and a train ride or wagon ride.
Activity tickets: $8 each or 15 for $100. Activities are not included in the weekend reservation.
Park entrance fee: $3 per vehicle on weekdays, $5 on weekends and $7 on holidays.

Pumpkin City — Laguna Hills
Pumpkin City opens for the full month of October with pumpkins, kiddie rides, game booths, a petting zoo, gem mining, food, daily live entertainment and an Oktoberfest beer garden for guests 21 and older.

Hours: Monday–Thursday, 12:30–9 p.m.; Friday–Sunday, 10 a.m.–10 p.m.
Admission: Free Monday–Friday before 4 p.m. Current admission pricing for other times has not been posted.

This is a practical pick for families who want a later visit, or adults who want to pair the patch with the beer garden and festival food.
Seasonal Adventures — OC Fairgrounds, Costa Mesa
Seasonal Adventures brings mechanical rides, inflatables, an obstacle course, bounce houses, a petting zoo and a train to the OC Fairgrounds. Pumpkins are also available for purchase.

Hana Field pairs pumpkins fresh off the vines with a flower field, Jurassic-themed corn maze, barn animals and optional activities including a cow train and pumpkin cannon. It is a separate Costa Mesa location from Tanaka Farms in Irvine.

The Pumpkin Patch celebrates its 50th season in 2026. The long-running Placentia patch offers pumpkins, baby animals, tractor rides, carnival games, inflatables, human hamster balls, gold and gem mining, face painting and photo spots.

Hours: Wednesday–Thursday, 4–9 p.m.; Friday, 4–10 p.m.; Saturday, 10 a.m.–10 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m.–8 p.m. Closed Monday and Tuesday.

The Environmental Nature Center’s 50th annual Fall Faire includes a pumpkin patch, live music, nature-themed activities and food. It is a one-day community event, not a monthlong patch.
