Laguna Beach's beloved Main Beach has debuted its latest round of upgrades, featuring modernized park facilities, new concrete sidewalks, refreshed landscaping, and improved lighting and drainage. Whether it's a leisurely stroll or a sunset hangout, your favorite beach spot just got better.
🚉 Back on Track: Rail Service Resumes Through San Clemente
Good news, commuters! Metrolink and Amtrak Pacific Surfliner services through San Clemente are back following intensive repairs near Mariposa Point. Nearly 5,900 tons of protective boulders have been placed along the bluffs, safeguarding the tracks from coastal erosion and landslides just in time for summer travels.
🥚 Egg Recall Alert: 1.7 Million Dozen Recalled Due to Salmonella Risk
August Egg Company has recalled 1.7 million dozen brown cage-free and organic eggs sold under various brand names—including Clover, O Organics, Marketside, Raley’s, and more—due to potential Salmonella contamination. These eggs were distributed between February and May across California, Nevada, and several other states through major retailers like Walmart, Safeway, and Ralphs.
Affected cartons are marked with plant code P-6562 or CA5330 and Julian dates 032 to 126. Consumers are advised to return the eggs for a full refund. The company is cooperating with health officials and temporarily halting fresh egg sales. Questions? Call 1-800-710-2554 (9am–5pm PT).
